Camera Obscura's Maudlin Career

The new album from Camera Obscura - "My Maudlin Career" - will be released on the seminal 4AD Records label ( on CD, vinyl & digital download on April 20th.

This is the fourth full-length offering from Glasgow's finest purveyors of literate, melodic pop. It is the follow up to the critically acclaimed "Let's Get Out Of This Country" album. And it is their best yet.

Camera Obscura will perform at the South By Southwest Music Conference* in Austin, Texas in March before heading to New York for a show at the Bell House in Brooklyn with special guest Laura Cantrell.

The band will also play some UK dates in April:
